Teach Europe aims to:
1. Upskill teachers by providing them with innovative learning scenarios to implement an EU perspective across the curriculum.
2. The project will also empower teachers through training
3. Give the opportunity to students to learn more about the EU, to think critically about their European identity and explore active citizenship.
Design and select a task force composed by 12 experienced teachers to contribute to the co-constructing of learning scenarios.
Co-construct a core of 12 learning scenarios for integrating EU topics in at least 5 different secondary school disciplines. A learning scenario is a lesson plan aiming to structure a class and provides teachers with a detailed plan, materials, and exercises to lead a lesson.
Empower the members of the task force to become ambassadors for the project by creating a sense of community and face-to-face workshops in Brussels.
Test and adapt the learning scenarios with the organisation of a school pilot associating 12 schools from 6 different countries across Europe.
Create a widespread community of practitioners by disseminating co-created content via a MOOC (Massive Online Open Course).
